U.Va. President Teresa A. Sullivan speaking at a podium

U.Va. President Teresa A. Sullivan will be addressing the Fauclty Senate for the first time since her ouster and reinstatement in June.

President Teresa A. Sullivan will address the University of Virginia Faculty Senate on Tuesday, the first time she’s spoken to faculty since her reinstatement in June. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in Abbott Center Auditorium at the Darden School of Business.

While the meeting will be open to the public, priority seating will be given to senators and invited guests. The rest will be made available to other faculty on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event will be streamed live for those unable to attend in person. Five overflow rooms at Darden will also be available.

Parking will be available in the Darden garage. A Faculty Senate meeting in June at Darden created a traffic jam around the school, so carpooling and public transportation are encouraged.

Questions for a question-and-answer period with the president can be submitted via email: faculty-senate-questions@collab.itc.virginia.edu. The email address will be kept open until the end of the meeting.

Following Sullivan’s remarks and the question-and-answer period, the senate’s Executive Council will meet with senators and faculty outside in the courtyard.
