U.Va. Physics Department to Host National Physics Day Show on April 24

University of Virginia professors and undergraduates will give strange and mystifying presentations that illustrate the peculiar properties of energy during the annual National Physics Day Show, hosted April 24 by the Department of Physics in the College of Arts & Sciences. The show begins at 7 p.m. in room 203 of the Physics Building, located at 382 McCormick Rd.

Physics professors Stefan Baessler, Craig Group, Bob Jones, Despina Louca and Cass Sackett will join with undergraduate students in a presentation designed to entertain– and educate – the general public.

Parking is available in the Central Grounds Parking Garage on Emmett Street and, after 5 p.m., in the Scott Stadium lots.
