U.Va.'s Annual Tournées Francophone Film Festival To Be Held Feb. 18-21

February 2, 2010 — The Department of French Language and Literature at the University of Virginia will present its annual Tournées Francophone Film Festival Feb. 18-21.

The festival is free and open to the public and all movies will be screened in French with English subtitles. Each screening will be followed by discussion in English led by a faculty member or graduate student.

This year's lineup includes:

• Feb. 18, 6:30 p.m., Wilson Hall, room 402: "Peur(s) du noir" ("Fear[s] of the Dark")
• Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m., Wilson Hall, room 402: "Un Baiser s'il vous plait" ("Shall We Kiss?")
• Feb. 20, 4:30 p.m., Maury Hall, room 125: "Les Plages d'Agnès" ("The Beaches of Agnes")
• Feb. 20, 7:30 p.m., Maury Hall, room 125: "La Fille coupée en deux" ("A Girl Cut in Two")
• Feb. 21, 4:30 p.m., Minor Hall, room 125: "La Graine et le mullet" ("The Secret of the Grain")
