The better part of Joseph Blair's early career was devoted to the business world. It wasnt until later in life that he made the decision to follow a different path that led him to become a rabbi. After high school Blair attended the University of Virginia, studying biology and chemistry. He went on to study sociology, anthropology and religion. He ultimately began studying environmental sciences, graduating with a bachelor’s degree.
