Tarun Sivanandan: I remember stepping onto Grounds for the first time.

Anushka Dar: I immediately fell in love, and I was like, “This place is stunning.”

Sivanandan: You look at the architecture, you look at the spaces.

Justin Gregory: I understand what people mean by “This is UVA.”

Jie Lu: UVA is accomplished, passionate students.

Sivanandan: Behind that work ethic is curiosity.

Rola Suleiman: You get to meet so many people who have such different views in life and you could learn from.

Gregory: It’s a family of people that want to come together and want to be better.

Suleiman: UVA’s really a student-led place.

Dar: We have the opportunity to leave this school better than we found it.

Sivanandan: When you’re in the stands at a UVA game, everybody that you see, our smiles are beaming.

Caleb Macey: It’s electric.

Suleiman: If you’re not coming to a game to lose your voice, why are you there?

Ben Nilson: UVA means community, where everybody can come together and celebrate being a Hoo.

Gregory: It's its own bond, it’s its own community, it’s its own way of thinking.

Macey: Everything I came to college hoping to do, I accomplished at UVA.

Lu: I know I will carry UVA with me. It will have a special place in my heart.

Sivanandan: Students at UVA view the University – as an opportunity to take an already powerful and meaningful institution and help make it into something that’s even better.
