Jennifer Millard Rose, a nurse in the University of Virginia Medical Center’s coronary care unit, died June 6 in Charlottesville. She was 50.

Rose graduated from U.Va.’s School of Nursing in 1985 and then worked as a coronary care nurse. She served as a model of both professional and personal eminence.

Rose’s husband, Gavin, predeceased her last year; they are survived by three children.
