The Area Program in Poetry Writing graduates its 20th class this year. To mark the occasion, fourth-year student Isabella Salcedo, who is double-majoring in poetry writing and linguistics, reads her poem, “Path of Least Resistance.”
Joanna Clark, who pursued a double major in poetry writing and medieval and Renaissance literature, reads her poem, “all my family does is forget.” Clark joins the 20th graduating class from UVA’s Area Program in Poetry Writing.
