February 5, 2009 — The Leadership Development Center at the University of Virginia is accepting registration for a leadership seminar, "Effective Coaching for Leaders," to be held Feb. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in Newcomb Hall.
The seminar will incorporate multiple demonstrations along with peer and group coaching. Objectives include increasing knowledge and skill of coaching, learning the short- and long-term benefits of coaching and increasing awareness of one's own coaching style.
Registration is $100. Benefits-eligible University employees are encouraged to consult with their Human Resource representative to determine eligibility for the new education benefit.
