Dates Set for Student Flu Immunization Clinics

October 22, 2009 — The University of Virginia's Elson Student Health Center has scheduled flu immunization clinics for students and has identified future clinic dates, depending on vaccine availability.

Students can get required immunizations, such as measles/mumps/rubella or tetanus/diphtheria, and seasonal flu vaccine on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Aquatic & Fitness Center and on Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom. Because Student Health has exhausted its supply of seasonal flu vaccine, students should come to one of these clinics for immunizations..

Injectable H1N1 vaccine may be available at the Nov. 5 clinic. (More information).

Depending on vaccine availability, clinics are scheduled for Nov. 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, at Alumni Hall. Additional information will be provided as soon as possible.

H1N1 immunization clinics for health professions students took place at Student Health on Wednesday and today.
