Oct. 29, 2007 — This is the second year that the John Paul Jones Arena will host U.Va.’s largest career fair, Diversity Career Day, open to all students and alumni from any college in Virginia on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers expect a turnout similar to last year when the fair attracted recruiters from 150 organizations that value diversity and drew more than 1,200 students from U.Va. and 30 other schools.
Student experiences at UVA come in many forms. For Ted Obi, a psychology and pre-med student, his journey took him to Ghana for a telemedicine project supported by UVA’s Center for Global Health and the Parents Fund.
