MEDIA ADVISORY: U.Va. Sorensen Institute to Host Legislative Review Session with 10 Northern Virginia Legislators April 20

April 7, 2009 — On April 20, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia will host a town-hall format legislative review session to discuss the 2009 General Assembly session and issues relevant to the Northern Virginia region.
 
The panel will include 10 members of the Virginia General Assembly who represent the Northern Virginia region: Delegates Dave Albo, David Bulova, Charniele Herring, Bob Marshall, Joe May, Ken Plum, Margi Vanderhye and Vivian Watts, and Senators Jill Holtzman Vogel and Richard Saslaw.
 
The event will be free and open to the public. It will be held at the Ernst Community Cultural Center at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College from 7 to 9 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
 
Audience members will be asked to join the legislators in a substantive Q&A about the 2009 General Assembly session and issues relevant to the Northern Virginia region.
