July 21, 2009 — Alan Philip Rimm-Kaufman, 41, died July 18 of leukemia in Charlottesville. In addition to running his own Web-marketing company, the Rimm-Kaufman Group, since 2003, he also held appointments as visiting professor in the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and as a fellow at the Center for Management of Information Technology in the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
