Mary Louise Simms Burton, 69, a retired respiratory therapist at the U.Va. Health System, died March 7 in Charlottesville.

Burton gave 46 years of service to U.Va., first as a licensed practical nurse at the Kluge Children’s Rehabilitation Center and then as a certified respiratory therapist in the U.Va. Health System.
