Pancakes for Parkinson’s, an annual student-run fundraiser celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, will take place Saturday morning on the South Lawn.

Each year, University of Virginia students flip flapjacks to raise money to combat Parkinson’s disease, a neurological disorder that affects 6 million people globally. The UVA event supports the Michael J. Fox Foundation that seeks both a cure for the disease and new therapies to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you can’t be there in person to partake of the pancakes, you can still make a donation online
