Presidential Management Fellows Program Information Session Oct. 9

October 8, 2008 — Dana Coelho, a U.Va. alumna and current Presidential Management Fellow, will discuss the application and interview processes and her experiences as a fellow in the program on Oct. 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Minor Hall 125.

The Presidential Management Fellows Program is a two-year leadership training program of the U.S. federal government designed to attract outstanding graduating graduate students (master's and doctoral level) of all academic disciplines to leadership and management of public policies and programs across the spectrum of federal agencies. It is a great way to advance quickly to a high-ranking permanent position in federal service.

The event is aimed at graduate students but is open to the public. A Q&A session will follow Coelho's presentation. Materials will be distributed. The application period for the fellowship program runs through Oct. 15.
