The offices that make up enrollment at the University of Virginia field thousands of calls and emails each semester from students and families navigating financial aid, registration and admission questions.
Now, instead of three separate phone numbers, emails and waiting periods, there’s just one.
UVA One Stop, which officially launches Monday, brings together three UVA offices – Student Financial Services, the University Registrar and Undergraduate Admissions – into a single team dedicated to answering your questions related to enrollment.
“Our vision is providing a single point of contact for comprehensive and holistic support for our UVA community, our UVA students, UVA faculty, staff and family members,” Rose Tyree, director of UVA One Stop, said. “One place that they can ask any question.”
The new service aims to eliminate the frustrating experience of being “bounced around” among departments, especially during busy periods of the semester when wait times can be long, Tyree said.

“We want to make a good impression, because we know that students have choices,” Tyree said. “They chose to invest in their future and in their education here, and we want to honor that choice.”
While the service will be especially valuable for incoming Hoos learning to navigate the University systems in front of them, One Stop anticipates its largest user group will be returning students who continue to have questions about financial aid, billing, transcripts and other matters throughout their college experience.
Have a question that falls outside of Student Financial Services, the University Registrar or Undergraduate Admissions? One Stop is committed to pointing you in the right direction.

When is the fall bill due?
For most undergraduate students, the fall tuition bill is due Sept. 10, which is about two weeks after classes begin for the fall semester. This date differs from last year because Student Financial Services wanted to give students time to finalize their class schedules and allow families more time to make payment arrangements.
Students can find their payment details in the Student Information System.
