U.Va.'s Batten Institute to Host Jim Collins at Darden School on March 27

March 13, 2008 — The Batten Institute at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business will host a conversation with best-selling author Jim Collins on Thursday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in Darden's Abbott Center Auditorium.

Collins will share leadership insights generated through his groundbreaking book, "Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap … And Others Don't." He will also give a sneak peak at preliminary data from his two new research studies about leading in times of uncertainty and seek audience feedback.

No parking will be available at the Darden School; parking and shuttle service will be provided at the John Paul Jones Arena. The shuttle bus will pick up in front of the arena entrance. Please look for a sign stating, "Darden School Pick Up Location." The shuttle service will be continuous through out the morning and following the event.
