November 13, 2008 — Two half-day seminars offered by the Leadership Development Center at the University of Virginia will focus on listening and leveraging generational differences.
“Powerful Listening for Leaders” on Nov. 21 in Newcomb Hall will convey important leadership characteristics of decision-making, strategic planning, individual development and team building. The fee is $100.
“Generational Differences” on Dec. 4, also in Newcomb, will help participants understand more fully the strengths and opportunities of the four generations currently in the workplace: traditionalists, baby boomers, generation X and millennials. The fee is $125.
