May 19, 2010 — The Virginia Glee Club will honor the University of Virginia's Class of 2010 on Saturday at its annual Finals Concert.
The group will present a variety of music ranging from classic works from the 13th century to more contemporary works from the 1970s. Audiences will enjoy the return of Franz Biebl's "Ave Maria" and an assortment of University songs to send off the graduates.
The performance will be held Saturday at 9:30 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall. There is no charge for degree candidates. General admission tickets ($15) and student tickets ($5) can be purchased at Mincer's, the Newcomb Hall Ticket Office (434-924-3376), or at the door. For information, visit the Glee Club website.
