June 3, 2009 — Join other Wahoo baseball fans at the University Area Holiday Inn's new sports bar, Emmet's, to see the Virginia Cavaliers in the NCAA Oxford Super Regional games against Ole Miss.
The University of Virginia Alumni Association will host a viewing party starting Friday, to bring alumni together to watch the red-hot men's baseball team battle for a spot in the College World Series.
Discounts of $1 on drink and food specials will be available to members of the Alumni Association at the newly renovated bar, which features five wide-screen TVs.
The series begins with a 2 p.m. game on Friday, followed by a noon game on Saturday. (If necessary, the teams will face off at 3 p.m. on Sunday for the right to advance to the College World Series.)
