Once students get settled in their dorms at the end of August, the action gets started with the University of Virginia’s huge welcome party, “Wahoo Welcome,” a six-week reception for UVA’s newest family members.
The University-wide programming is a blend of activities to help everyone find their place at UVA. There’s a run with President Jim Ryan, the school’s largest activities fair and the classic Rotunda Sing with the school’s many a cappella groups.
