At Thursday's Study Abroad Fair, students can explore many options, from a January Term course to Semester at Sea.

Cameroon? India? London? Australia? Students, let your imaginations be your guide Thursday as you peruse your options at the University of Virginia’s Study Abroad Fair.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom, representatives from more than 100 programs will be ready to answer questions. There also will be a financial aid officer on hand to explain funding options.

Erica Goldfarb, a promotional coordinator in the International Studies Office, said the fair presents students with the opportunity to “think about going abroad and where they want to go.”

New this year, the office is offering a second, “mini fair” Sept. 11 from 3 to 4:40 p.m. in the Mural Room of Clark Hall. “We are offering this second fair this year in the event students cannot get to the first one,” Goldfarb said.
