As a player, [UVA alumnus] Dane Murphy was a blunt instrument; a simple player. But he got things done. He was a straight-talking, no-nonsense midfielder. Somebody not shy about “making a ruckus.” Some of those same qualities have helped to lead him to this point — aged 35, Murphy is embarking on the biggest challenge of his career so far after being appointed Nottingham Forest CEO —  and some of those closest to him believe they will continue to serve him well.
