Frampton is a highly decorated architect and historian who has been celebrated around the world for his contributions in the field.

Omer Gorashi, who grew up in a tight-knit immigrant community in Northern Virginia, is headed to Princeton University in the fall, pursuing his graduate degree in architecture.

Acclaimed architect Francis Kéré, known for his pioneering communal approach to design and commitment to sustainability, has been named the 2021 Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medalist in Architecture.

UVA’s architecture and landscape architecture rose in DesignIntelligence’s “Most Admired” schools list, and earned No. 2 “Most Hired” rankings. Two faculty members, Elizabeth Meyer and Peter Waldman, were also recognized.
