July 16, 2008 — Reba Moyer Childress, assistant professor of nursing at the University of Virginia and director of U.Va.'s Clinical Simulation Learning Center, is one of 168 fellows recently inducted into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sponsored by U.Va. nurse practitioners on the faculty, Suzanne Burns and Audrey Snyder, she joins them in this honor. Fellows are recognized for their outstanding contributions and leadership in the areas of nurse practitioner clinical practice, research, education or health policy, and their continued commitment and potential for contributing to the mission and initiatives of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
