November 16, 2009 — The annual Artisans' Bazaar at the University of Virginia will be held Thursday through Saturday in the Newcomb Ballroom. The bazaar features regional artisans selling a wide variety of wares and gift items, including jewelry, pottery, ornaments, handbags and photography – just in time for the holiday season.

There will be a raffle, and a crafts area also will be set up where people can decorate gift bags and sugar cookies.

Admission is free and open to the public. The bazaar's hours will be noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday; 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
