August 26, 2009 — An "aggressive" fox has been seen roaming the Rugby Road and Lambeth Field areas on the University of Virginia's Grounds.

University Police are patrolling the area, and humane traps have been set. Students and area residents are asked to be especially careful during evening and early morning hours.

If you see the animal, do not approach or try to scare it. Move away from it and call 911 immediately. Also call 911 if you see an animal in a trap.
