November 16, 2011 — The University of Virginia's English Department will hold a memorial for Greg Colomb on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. in the University Chapel, with a reception to follow in Bowers Library, Department of English, Bryan Hall. Colomb died Oct. 11 in Charlottesville. He was 60.

Colomb joined the English Department in the University of Virginia's College of Arts & Sciences in 1997 and directed the Academic and Professional Writing Program.
