Beekman scored 21 points in the battle, a career high. UVA, ranked No. 22 nationally in the Associated Press poll, is 9-1 heading into its first true road game of the season against Memphis. The Tigers are 8-2 coming off big wins against ranked teams Texas A&M and Clemson, and entered the AP rankings Monday at No. 23.
