Cooler weather and colorful foliage in Charlottesville can mean only one thing: fall is in full swing at the University of Virginia, where the school and students have created a raft of spooky offerings between now and Oct. 31, Halloween night.
The crown jewel of events is, of course, Trick-or-Treating on the Lawn, a beloved annual event that brings together students and area families for an evening of fun. This year, Halloween falls on a Tuesday and Lawn and Range residents will be giving out candy from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
But students don’t need to wait until Halloween night to get in the spirit. Here is a partial list of offerings. Mark your calendars.
