Feb. 22, 2007 -- Kelly Eplee is the new executive director of U.Va.'s Madison House, the student volunteer center for U.Va. Eplee is a familiar face at Madison House, having served as the associate director from 1992 to 1996. He has worked in nonprofit management and donor relations in the Charlottesville area for 15 years, including as  executive director for the AIDS/HIV Services Group from 1996 to 1999. Most recently, from 1999 to 2006, he was the director of development at Habitat for Humanity for Greater Charlottesville.

Madison House offers sincere thanks to associate director Elizabeth Bass, who served as interim director for the past six months. Through Madison House, each academic year over 3,300 U.Va. students volunteer 110,000 hours through 70 programs.
