WHAT: The 2010 University of Virginia Patent Foundation Awards Reception
WHO: The 2010 Edlich-Henderson Inventor(s) of the Year will be announced and will give brief remarks concerning his/her/their research discoveries and their paths to the marketplace. The Edlich-Henderson Inventor of the Year award is the highest honor bestowed by the U.Va. Patent Foundation.
All U.Va. inventors who received U.S. patents and copyrights in 2009 will also be honored, and many will be in attendance, along with past award winners, U.Va. researchers who reported the invention of new technologies in 2009 and others from throughout the U.Va. research community.
WHEN: April 5. Cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. and reception to follow (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
WHERE: University of Virginia Rotunda, Dome Room (ceremony) and Lower West Oval Room (cocktails and reception). Map of Central Grounds

Award winners receive a $10,000 cash prize and formal recognition at the Patent Foundation's annual awards reception.
