MEDIA ADVISORY: U.Va. Sorensen Institute to Host Issues Forum with Democratic Candidates for Governor in Danville April 28

April 7, 2009 — On April 28, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia will host an issues forum with the three Democratic candidates for governor: Creigh Deeds, Terry McAuliffe and Brian Moran.
 
The event will be free and open to the public. It will be held at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research at 150 Slayton Avenue in Danville from 7 to 9 p.m.
 
The forum will be moderated by Bob Gibson, the Sorensen Institute's executive director, and former Danville mayor Linwood Wright.
 
Media are welcome. An XLR mult box will be available for the audio feed.

Public radio station WVTF will broadcast this event live.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Danville Register & Bee.
