MEDIA ADVISORY: U.Va. Sorensen Institute to Host Talk by Former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger on April 14

April 7, 2009 — On April 14, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia will host a talk by former U.S. Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger.
 
Eagleburger, who served as secretary of state under President George H.W. Bush and also served in diplomatic and political posts under Presidents Nixon, Carter and Reagan, will deliver a talk titled "American Foreign Policy: Past, Present, and Future." He will take questions from the audience.

The event, which is being co-sponsored by Piedmont Virginia Community College, is free and open to the public. It will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the V. Earl Dickinson Main Stage at PVCC. Free parking is available.
