The University of Virginia will provide a media briefing on the next phase of renovations to the Rotunda, a World Heritage Site and National Landmark.
Phase two of the $50 million project will result in major and subtle changes in the structure – updating utility systems, restoring historical features such as the column capitals and expanding the future use of the building. The two-year project is expected to enhance the Rotunda’s central role as a historic and educational resource for the University community.
