Dr. Douglas William Eastwood, formerly of Charlottesville, died June 6 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 90 years old.

Eastwood was a professor and chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia Medical Center until he moved to Cleveland in 1972. In 1989, he retired as professor emeritus of anesthesiology from Case Western Reserve University.
