March 14, 2011 — Dr. Edward Croft Wilson, who was retired from the University of Virginia Health System's Department of Internal Medicine, died on March 5. He was 77.

Wilson graduated from Randolph-Macon College and the Medical College of Virginia. From 1965 until his retirement, he served on the faculty of the School of Medicine.
