Terri Louise Moore died Jan. 9 in Crozet. She was 49.

Moore was a nurse at the University of Virginia Health System for 23 years, retiring in early 2013 after a year working in the Stem Cell Program. Prior to that, she worked at the Transitional Care Hospital, on 4 West and in the Vascular Surgery unit.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Moore, two children, and a sister.
