#MyUVASummer Showcases How U.Va. Community Spent the Break

Many University of Virginia students, alumni and staff members have spent their summers traveling the world for work, for play, or for some combination of the two. We asked them to share how they spent the summer using the hashtag #MyUVASummer on Instagram and Twitter.

From the top of Kilimanjaro to the depths of the Negev Desert, Wahoos represented U.Va. all over the world. (In addition to these voyages featured on social media, nearly 70 students spent the summer working in different parts of the world, gaining valuable experience through the University’s global internship program.)
