August 12, 2010 — Alderman Road, between McCormick and Stadium roads, is open to one-lane traffic during paving work through Tuesday. Flagmen will control traffic during the paving operations.

The road, which had been closed for the summer for utility installation work, is scheduled to reopen fully Aug. 18. Pavement stripe painting is scheduled for Aug. 19 and 20 – just in time for the Aug. 21 "Move-In Day" for incoming University of Virginia students.
