February 14, 2011 — Newcomb Drive, on the University of Virginia Grounds, will be closed between the University Bookstore loading dock and the east entrance to the Bookstore from Feb. 18 through August 2012. The closing affects mainly pedestrian traffic.

The closure accommodates renovations at Newcomb Hall and the expansion of the Newcomb Hall dining area. With the exception of construction vehicles and personnel, no pedestrians or vehicles will have access to this portion of the road for the duration of construction.
