If you are looking for an early blast of spring, you may be in luck. Much of the country is experiencing above-normal temperatures and plenty of sunshine this week, with spring officially beginning March 19.

On the Grounds of the University of Virginia, trees are starting to show off spring colors as students and staff fill the Lawn to take advantage of Mother Nature’s seasonal preview.
