March 6, 2012 — "They may not be able to fly, but they will definitely hit the ground running" – that's the motto used to describe "Super Temps," a flock of advanced administrative professionals ready to aid an office or department via University of Virginia Temporary Services, or U.Va. Temps.

This is the second group of temporary employees to be trained in U.Va.'s Integrated System and University procedures in advance of upcoming assignments.

The 12 Super Temps, who will complete their training by March 26, will introduce themselves at a meet-and-greet reception to be held March 15, from 3 to 5 p.m., in the Colonnade Club's front parlor. Attendees will also have the opportunity to reserve a Super Temp on the spot.
