October 11, 2011 — University Human Resources will provide the 2011 seasonal flu vaccine to all University of Virginia employees, including temporary and wage workers, at various sites around Grounds between Oct. 17 and 28.

This year's vaccine is a "three-in-one," protecting against two seasonal strains and the H1N1 variety in a single shot. UVA-WorkMed staff will administer the vaccine. No appointments are necessary, but employees should bring their University ID.

Questions about the flu vaccines and who should or should not receive the shot should be directed to WorkMed at 434-243-0076.

The flu shot clinics will be held as follows:

•    Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jordan Hall Conference Center, classrooms G1&2 (ground floor)
•    Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Newcomb Hall, South Meeting Room

•    Oct. 20, 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Darden School, Sponsors Hall, general purpose room
•    Oct. 21, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Printing and Copying Services, Old Ivy Road, conference room
•    Oct. 21, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Fontaine Research Park, 415 Building, room 2176
