September 27, 2011 — The University of Virginia Art Museum will host a Final Friday reception Sept. 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy refreshments and the special exhibitions "Figure Study: The Fourteenth Street School and the Woman in Public," "Variety, Archeology, and Ornament: Renaissance Architectural Prints from Column to Cornice" and "The Dancer and the Dance: Prints, Drawings, and Photographs."

Both pieces will be performed at 6 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. Local musician Matt Wyatt will accompany the performers.
Admission to Final Friday is free for museum members and U.Va. students, thanks to Arts$, and $3 for nonmembers. Free parking is available at Culbreth Road Garage and in the A6 parking lot, next to Madison Bowl on Rugby Road.
The U.Va. Art Museum is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
