U.Va. Alumna Hannah Pittard to Read at Iris Magazine Reception

October 3, 2011 — The latest issue of Iris: A Magazine for Thinking Young Women,  published by the University of Virginia Women's Center, is available around Grounds and at the center.

A reception for the new issue, co-sponsored by the College of Arts & Sciences' Creative Writing program, will be held Oct. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Women's Center's conference room, featuring Pittard reading from her critically acclaimed debut novel, "The Fates Will Find Their Way."

The fall issue includes essays, advice and stories centered around the theme of "Resilience." Visit Iris online to make a donation and to receive a full year's subscription.
