U.Va.'s Hereford College to Host 5K on April 24 to Benefit Children, Youth and Family Services

April 24, 2010 — Hereford Residential College at the University of Virginia will hold its annual 'Round the Grounds 5K Run/Walk/Stroll on April 24 to benefit Charlottesville's Children, Youth, and Family Services.

The race begins at 9:30 a.m. between Norris and Whyburn houses in Hereford. Race-day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Parking will be available at the top of the hill, and driving directions can be provided upon request. Children are welcome, in strollers or on foot.
 
Pre-registration is $15 ($10 for students), and $20 on the day of the race. Participants receive a 'Round the Grounds T-shirt.
 
Online registration is available, and a printable form may also be downloaded here. University participants can send printed registration forms via messenger mail to Terry Hughes at Hereford College/Lower Vaughan/Station #2 or drop them off at her office in Vaughan House.
