Cohen Distinguished Professor of Law and Taxation) Throughout the extremely disturbing first few months of the Trump administration, when the president’s views appear to turn on a dime, one important constant has been his refusal to release his tax returns. To cut short what seems to be the nation’s inevitable slide into constitutional crisis, Congress should obtain and possibly disclose those returns under authority of a law first passed in 1924.

UVA created an initiative to support entrepreneurship and innovation both on and off campus. The university’s i.Lab is 10,000 square feet of collaboration space, maker tools and other technology. Leveraging this, along with mentoring from industry experts, UVA hopes the space will be able to support “multi-disciplinary teams developing high-impact technology that may form the basis of a new venture.”

A recent study of about a third of the nation's Muslim high schools conducted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia found that the students did not vary much from their non-Muslim peers in terms of interests and sense of being American.
