UVA’s Darden School of Business has launched a new massive open online course, “Financial Accounting Fundamentals,” with an intent to enable learners of all backgrounds in the fundamentals of financial accounting.

Abingdon trial lawyer Mary Lynn Tate has been awarded the Prof. W. McKinley Smiley Jr. Lighthouse Award by the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. June 13 promises to be the first big test of how much new political activism is being aroused in the era of Donald Trump’s presidency.
