Global Health Week kicked off Monday morning at the University of Virginia. It's an effort to raise awareness locally about what people can do to make a difference globally.Each day of Global Health Week will have a different theme to raise awareness. Monday's focus was on environmental health. The activities started in the amphitheater with an interactive obstacle course that detailed seven neglected tropical diseases.
